On January 10-12, 2024, seventy-five Latino faith and community leaders, predominantly from Florida and organized by Mission Talk, visited historic sites in Birmingham, Selma, and Montgomery, Alabama, to learn about our nation’s sad history of slavery, the Civil Rights Movement, Dr. King’s role in leading the through his message of love and justice and how the lynching system has evolved.

During the third week of September 2023, LCNN brought together about forty Latino leaders representing all major Christian traditions for a dialogue on Christian Nationalism. Those present represented a solid diversity of genders and ages, under the wise leadership of Daniel Montañez, Sandy Ovalle, and Dr. Alexia Salvatierra. Attendees considered different topics related to Christian Nationalism with respect and seriousness.

Seven members of the Hispanic Congressional Caucus welcomed the LCNN 2022 gathering participants and discussed relevant issues affecting our Latino community.

More than 35 leaders met in Washington, DC for the 2022 Annual Gathering. In the picture are some of the participants during our visit to the Bread for the World offices.
