Across the country, Latino Christian leaders are discerning how to respond to injustice with courage, wisdom, and compassion. LCNN exists for this moment: to accompany leaders, strengthen communities, and bear public witness to the Gospel in action. Save the Date: LCNN Annual Gathering 2026LCNN invites pastors and leaders to join us for our Annual Gathering in Washington, D.C., as we come together to seek wisdom and faithful witness in turbulent times. This gathering will be a sacred space for prayer, reflection, and strategy as we wrestle with pressing questions facing our communities: How do we raise our voices and stand against the persecution of our Latino families?

Faithful Resistance:
A Public Witness for Immigrant Justice

LCNN is proud to stand with ecumenical and interfaith partners for Faithful Resistance, a public witness for immigrant justice rooted in worship, moral courage, and solidarity with our neighbors. When: February 25, 2026 Where: Washington, D.C. The day will begin with worship at Capitol Hill United Methodist Church, followed by a prayerful procession to the U.S. Capitol and afternoon congressional visits. Together, we will proclaim that faith demands action and that justice for immigrants is a moral and spiritual imperative. Learn more and get involved: www.faithfulresistance.org

Opportunity for Leaders: Púlpito Fellows Program

We want to share an opportunity that could be a true gift to leaders in your network: the Púlpito Fellows Program, a nine-week, fully funded digital preaching and formation initiative designed for this critical moment in the life of the church. This program is especially for BIPOC leaders who are called to proclaim a Gospel rooted in justice, truth, and hope. As we look ahead, this may be the final year the program is offered at no cost, making this a unique opportunity. Program highlights include: Weekly theological formation sessions Training in digital tools for ministry A dedicated mentor and tech coach One fully paid in-person closing convening

LCNN’s Programs Director, Efraín Pineda, participated in the Mission Talk Pilgrimage to Montgomery, Alabama, a sacred journey that brought together bishops and faith leaders from across the nation. His pilgrimage became a sacred awakening—reminding us that we are one body in Christ and that our call as believers is to walk together in justice, mercy, and humility. More than reflection, it was a moment of spiritual alignment, uniting leaders across traditions to recommit themselves to the work God requires of us: to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God (Micah 6:8). |
